This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get Core Membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get Core Membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So, if you happen to be following me on Instagram, Tumblr or even Facebook, you would know that I've been a member of the dA community since 2005. I've been inactive for about 3-4 years since I moved to Singapore for a job in an advertising firm. Needless to say, agencies have had a reputation of having a toxic environment, the workload can get a little out of hand sometimes, forcing you to have 15 hour shifts every day, pull your hair out and scream in silence. Having experienced it myself for several years, I've always made sure to keep myself busy with personal projects, a breathing space (at least for me), to get creative without the pressure of deadlines and unreasonable requests from clients. To cut the long story short, I found it hard to manage this page, nonetheless, I continued on doing freelance jobs outside my regular day job, and it has been fruitful and deeply satisfying so far.
I was commissioned to do illustrations and design a book over a year ago, which has been exciting to see unfold. After the successful funding of Princess Hiccup in Kickstarter, Matt has done several storytelling sessions for children and the book is getting rave reviews on Amazon.
Recently, I've been asked to illustrate for a new book project called The Rainbow Knight. I've done most of the character sketches but we haven't reached the target funds to be able to produce the book. Meanwhile, we're looking for alternate ways to make sure it does get funded.
What's also keeping me busy at the moment is making new watercolour illustrations for my Flow Series. A project that I've started a few years ago. I want to develop the concept of each piece further, hopefully it turns out nicely in the end.
